Surrounded by high mountains and passing small picturesque villages, you might encounter the rich wildlife such as fish, jellyfish, sea stars, otters, puffins, sea eagles and bottle nose dolphins. You will stay pretty close to shore, so you might also see reindeer or moose. This trip is rife with wildlife photo opportunities. Glaciers tumble down from high mountain slopes, little is accessible by road.
Your certified guide will make you feel confident and safe discovering clear blue-green water, spectacular fjords and untouched nature. Our trips are fully outfitted and require no prior experience from the participants.

The exact location of your paddling trip on beautiful Kvaløya will be chosen on the day, according to the weather.
Your trip starts with basic kayaking instructions in the harbour and a quick briefing on paddling technique and safety. Exploring from the intimate perspective of your kayak, encounter the otherworldly wilderness of ice and mountains. Skim along the island’s shores, taking time to find and observe the exciting wildlife. Enjoy a short walk on the beach and a coffee spot with marvellous mountain views. We will serve hot beverages with biscuits.
This is an excellent choice for those who have a longer day and are looking for a bit more of a challenge. To thoroughly enjoy your adventure be sure to wear warm, comfortable clothes.
